About
I’m not a Buddhist Monk and you don’t have to be, to infuse simple Zen principles into your crazy busy life!
After working with hundreds of kids, teens, and adults across the US and Canada, I found ONE underlying factor that almost every single person has in common.
Can you guess what that is?
S-T-R-E-S-S!
Yes, so many people are stressed to the max and often juggle way too many “things” at once.
The daily struggle to keep it all together can be exhausting and, as you already know, it eventually catches up to you by wreaking havoc on your mental and physical health.
That’s the bad news.

But, I’ve got GOOD NEWS for you!
I help people find and create their own version of Zen, by simplifying the process of creating new healthy habits.
I do this by sharing tips, printables, check-lists, journals, and lots of other resources to help make MIND BODY ZEN a reality! You can check out my Zen Den FREEBIE resource library to get started.
I’m all about:
- stress and anxiety busters
- happy health “hacks”
- quick organizing tricks
- time saving tips
- simplifying mindfulness
- fun DIY’s!
- and anything houseplant or crystal related.
You might be wondering “Why listen to her?”
As a Nationally Board Certified Integrative Medicine Health Coach and Certified Mind Body Movement Specialist, I have a great deal of experience in helping hundreds of people reach their health and wellness goals with a wide range of underlying health factors – STRESS being the main culprit to many of their health concerns.
I graduated from Duke Integrative Medicine in 2017. But, before that I was in the medical field for over 16 years .
I’m also married to my best friend, mom to a very sweet and energetic little boy, a small business owner, and a self-proclaimed crazy houseplant hoarder, I mean, collector.
Because of the many hats I wear, I know what it’s like to feel as if I’d never dig out from under my mile-long-to-do list and I allowed “mom-guilt” (yes, it’s a thing – and all too common) to keep me from taking time for myself! Long story short, I wasn’t managing my stress well and as result, it sucked the life out of me and my own health suffered.
Thankfully, I learned simple stress reduction techniques through MBSR (mindfulness based stress reduction) and I finally gave myself permission to take the stuff that no longer served me ( AKA – the stuff that I dreaded), off of my plate to allow room for the things that bring me joy, like quality time with my family, hobbies, self-care, and down time. Now, I’m happier, healthier, and wayyy more chill!
Why I created Zenful Panda
After years of working with clients full time, and repeating a lot of the same information over and over again, I knew that I wanted a way to share what I’ve learned and experienced with even more people.
So, Zenful Panda was born out of my deep desire to guide more people to their ideal state of health and happiness.
But, most importantly I want to show you that creating a less stressful and healthier way of life can be simple, fun, and sustainable!
I’m so happy you’re here and I invite you to stick around and check out the Mind Body Zen Blog for more tried and true tools to feel happier, healthier, and more ZENful!
Cheers,
Heather
